  • Project Gutenberg: Access to over 60,000 free books
  • IXL Learning: There are many reading, math, social studies and science skills for grades PK-12 in English as well as some activities in Spanish
  • PBS Learning Media: Teaching videos, helpful information, and interesting things for students PK-12
  • Storyline Online: Storyline Online streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations. Free, but it does have a donation button should you choose.
  • WatchLearnKnow: Educational videos K-12
  • Squiggle Park: Sign up for FREE! Squiggle Park is to help building skills for ages 3-8. Dreamscape is to help with reading comprehension for ages 8-15.

  • BreakoutEdu: Fun, digital games for all subject areas K-12
  • Epic Books: 35,000 books for ages 12 & under - free until June 30th - must have teacher sign up first
  • Into the Book: Elementary students - reading comprehension activities/games to help students understand and comprehend what they are reading
  • Wonderopolis: Informational site that asks and answers interesting questions about the world. There are vocabulary challenges and comprehension questions.
  • Storytime with Ryan and Craig: Picture book read alouds
  • SpellingCity: Spellingcity helps students with spelling/vocabulary -- it is free right now until June with code VSCFree90 *parents have to “sign up” for the premium access and then put in the code for it to be free*
  • Scholastic - Learn at Home: PK-9 -- provides cross-curricular learning journeys that students can complete with their families or independently (also in Spanish)
  • Read, Wonder, and Learn!: Authors and illustrators have put together videos of read alouds and mini-lessons for students to access via author Kate Messner
  • Fluency and Fitness: Educational brain breaks (900+ videos) to help students review essential literacy and math skills, while getting in some exercise. Best used for ages 4-8.
  • Story Time from Space : Astronauts on various missions in space read popular children’s books while floating about, and the videos are edited and shared with kids way down on Earth.

  • Fun 4 the Brain: Exuberant Games was created based on a passion and belief that kids can most certainly learn while they play. Math facts have to be reviewed in order to be mastered, so why not master your facts with games?

  • Legends of Learning: Grades 3-8; Free during Coronavirus Outbreak; Math Games
  • IXL Learning: There are many reading, math, social studies and science skills for grades PK-12 in English as well as some activities in Spanish

  • PBS Learning Media: Teaching videos, helpful information, and interesting things for students PK-12
  • CoolMath Games: Games to practice and use your math and reasoning skills for grades K-8.
  • Bedtime Math: This website if full of fun, hands-on math activities!
  • WatchLearnKnow: Educational videos K-12
  • Graham Fletcher - 3-Act-Tasks: Engaging, real-life tasks that encourage math skills such as estimation, problem-solving, etc. in a series of steps that begin with a video!
  • Origo At Home: Provides a full week of activities for grades K-5 focused on "big idea" math skills in both English and Spanish. Each day of the week has a focus. Resources include videos, hands on practice, problem solving, game day, practice day.
  • Iluminations:Students choose grade cluster button (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12). Math skills are practiced in an engaging, game format.
  • Starfall: Students are given the option to click on PK-K games or Gr 1-3 games. Math, Language Arts and Music activities are provided. Students click on their grade level and then choose their math game.
  • Peter Pig's Money Counter: This game is designed for students ages 5-8. Students practice identifying coins, counting money, and saving money in an interactive game.
  • Telling the Time: Students are given option to choose their level to practice telling time to the nearest hour, half hour, 5 minutes or minutes.
  • Solve Me Mobiles: Use number reasoning skills to "make" target number. Target number increases with levels. These mobiles promote algebraic reasoning in a fun and interactive format. Students can play as guest or can create their own log in if they want progress saved.
  • 24 Game: The goal for this game is to "make" 24 using multiplication, division, addition and/or subtraction. You must use all numbers given 1 time.

Science
  • Mystery Science: These are science lessons.
  • NASA Kids Club: A place to play games to learn about science by NASA, the National Aeronotics Space Administration.
  • National Geographic Kids: This is a site where you can learn about animals and science.

  • 63 Science Experiments for Kids: Easy science experiments with household items
  • San Diego Zoo: The San Diego Zoo has a website just for kids with amazing videos, games, and activities.
  • Explore Mars: Explore the surface of Mars on the Curiosity Rover. They are updating from WEBVR to WEBXR now, but 360 mode offers a digital view!
  • Mystery Doug: Sign up for FREE to receive amazing science videos that inspire students to ask questions!

  • Puppet Making and Puppeteering: The Kennedy Center has over 3,000 lessons to teach puppetmaking and puppeteering.
  • Your Classical . org: Variety of free streaming music
  • Exploring Music: Weekly radio show focusing on a particular composer, performer, genre, culture, music festival, or classical music theme. The last two weeks are available to stream. Archive lists all recordings featured within the weekly theme.
  • "That Art Teacher" YouTube Channel: Video tutorials of different art projects
  • Grid and Value: Website with printable handouts to practice drawing facial features using the grid and value shading techniques.
